Hot Pepper Oil
This is a popular condiment used in traditional Southeast Asian hot dishes.
Can be used as a dipping sauces for egg rolls, in stir-fry, or over a dish
just before serving to get some pizzazz.
1/4 cup hot red pepper flakes or crushed hot peppers
1 cup vegetable oil
In a small saucepan, bring the pepper flakes and oil to a
boil at medium heat.
Turn off the heat and allow to cool.
Strain into a glass container and seal. Store in the refrigerator.
